- Add an External Fuse: The mainboard does not include a built-in fuse. Always add an external fuse for protection. Reversing power supply polarity — even momentarily — can permanently damage board components.
- Never Short-Circuit the Module: Due to high power and current ratings, manually short-circuiting the module during abnormal operation can cause circuit burnout or component failure. Always start testing at low current and low voltage, then scale up once correct operation is confirmed.
- Match Motor Ratings: Always use a motor whose voltage, current, and power ratings are reasonably matched to this driver board to avoid unexpected damage.
- Cooling Recommended: For sustained high-current operation, adding an active cooling fan is strongly advised.
