Technical Specifications
| Battery Compatibility | 2 × 1260110 cells (soldering required; batteries not included) |
| Micro USB Input | 5V 2A / 9V 2A / 12V 1.5A |
| Micro USB Output | 4.5V 5A / 5V 3A / 9V 2A / 12V 1.5A |
| Type-C Input | 5V 3A / 9V 2A / 12V 1.5A |
| Type-C Output | 5V 3A / 9V 2.2A / 12V 1.6A |
| Mainboard Interfaces | 1 × Type-C (charge + output) + 2 × USB fast-charge output ports |
| Internal Dimensions | Approx. 110 × 60 × 23 mm |
| Max Single-Port Output | 22.5W (VOOC); 20W (PD bidirectional) |
Note: 22.5W refers to the VOOC Flash Charge protocol. Bidirectional fast charging operates under PD 20W. Simultaneous multi-port output does not support fast charging.
Assembly Tips
- Before soldering, connect the charging cable for input testing — confirm the screen illuminates and the display is functional.
- Solder battery leads directly to the mainboard. Twisted wires, crocodile clips, or spring contacts may cause insufficient power supply — avoid these methods.
- Connect the positive terminal to B+ and negative to B−. Do not reverse polarity, as this will damage the mainboard and is not covered under warranty.
- Use 3.7V lithium batteries only. Do not use lithium iron phosphate cells. Connect batteries in parallel — never in series.
- The mainboard includes integrated protection circuitry; no separate battery protection board is needed.
- After installing batteries, secure them with adhesive tape. Assess if spacers are needed to ensure a proper fit inside the casing.
- Fully test all functions (input, output, fast charging, buttons, display) before closing the snap-fit casing — it is not designed for repeated disassembly. Ideally, complete several charge/discharge cycles before sealing.
Usage Notes
- Device Compatibility: Verify your device supports a public fast-charging protocol (PD/QC) before purchase. Proprietary protocols not listed may not trigger fast charging.
- Mainboard Warmth During Operation: Some warmth during fast charging is a normal result of energy conversion — this is expected behavior.
- Battery Level Accuracy: The display uses a self-learning algorithm. Readings may be approximate initially and will become more accurate after several charge/discharge cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to buy batteries separately for this DIY power bank enclosure?
A: Yes. This product is the enclosure and mainboard module only. You will need to source two 1260110 lithium cells (3.7V) separately. The batteries must be soldered directly to the B+ and B− pins on the mainboard for proper operation.
Q: What fast-charging protocols does this 22.5W power bank module support?
A: The mainboard supports multiple protocols including VOOC Flash Charge (22.5W), Power Delivery (PD 20W bidirectional via Type-C), and Qualcomm Quick Charge (QC). It is compatible with a wide range of smartphones that use standard public fast-charging protocols.
Q: Can I charge multiple devices at the same time with this power bank kit?
A: Yes, you can use multiple output ports simultaneously. However, please note that simultaneous multi-port output does not support fast charging — only single-port use enables the maximum fast-charging speeds.
Q: Is it normal for the mainboard to get warm during fast charging?
A: Yes, some warmth is completely normal. During fast charging, higher power levels generate energy conversion losses that dissipate as heat. This is a standard physical phenomenon and does not indicate a fault with the module.
