How to Make Cold Brew Coffee
- Prepare Materials: Use 20g–80g of coarsely ground coffee beans for best results.
- Load the Filter: Open the lid and add coffee grounds to the fine mesh filter, using the scale markings to guide your ratio.
- Add Water: Pour cold or room-temperature water up to the desired mark (recommended ratio: 10:1 to 15:1 coffee to water).
- Seal the Lid: Close the lid firmly for a leakproof seal.
- Steep & Chill: Place in the refrigerator for 8–12 hours. Longer steeping = bolder flavour.
- Serve & Enjoy: Remove the filter and serve straight, over ice, or with milk.
- Easy Clean-Up: Disassemble the lid, filter, and base, then rinse all parts with water. Some filter staining is normal and does not affect performance.
⚠️ Safety Note: Do not seal the lid immediately after adding hot water. Allow the temperature to drop slightly first to prevent pressure build-up. Tightly sealing a hot, pressurised container can cause the lid to open suddenly or hot liquid to splash — always let steam escape before closing.
