Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this microphone windscreen cover compatible with the FIFINE Amplitank K688?

A: Yes! This foam windscreen cover is specifically designed and sized to fit the FIFINE Amplitank K688 microphone, measuring 90 × 55 × 55 mm for a snug and secure fit over the microphone head.

Q: What does the flocked sponge foam windscreen actually do for my recordings?

A: The flocked sponge foam acts as a physical barrier between your voice and the mic capsule, reducing breath blasts, wind noise, pops, and ticks while also filtering out high-frequency interference — resulting in cleaner, clearer audio captures during podcasting, streaming, or voiceover work.

Q: My windscreen arrived looking flattened — is it damaged?

A: Not at all! Foam windscreens are compressed during shipping to save space. The material has excellent elasticity and will return to its full shape on its own after being removed from the packaging for a short time. A gentle hand wash can also help speed up the reshaping process.
