PD 100W Power Bank DIY Module – 4S BMS TFT Colour Display
Build Your Own 100W Fast-Charging Power Bank
The PD 100W Rapid Charging Module by Gaqqee is a professional-grade DIY power bank mainboard designed for electronics enthusiasts and makers. Featuring a 4-series (4S) lithium battery protection board and a vivid 0.96-inch TFT colour display, this module lets you assemble a high-power portable charger that supports the latest fast-charging standards — all in one compact board. Made in Mainland China.
Key Features
- PD 100W Output / 65W Input: Delivers up to 100W output power, compatible with PD, QC, FCP, SCP, and other mainstream fast-charging protocols for broad device compatibility.
- TFT Colour Display: The integrated 0.96-inch screen shows real-time battery level, voltage, current, and power at a glance — illuminates for one minute on activation then dims to conserve energy.
- Dual Port Design: One Type-C port (bidirectional — charge in and out) plus one USB-A fast-charging output port for simultaneous device charging.
- Comprehensive BMS Protection: Built-in safeguards against overcharging, over-discharging, overvoltage, and overheating keep your batteries and connected devices secure.
- High Conversion Efficiency: Minimises energy loss for stable, consistent current and voltage output that protects connected devices.
- Self-Learning Battery Calibration: The battery meter auto-calibrates its capacity reading over several charge/discharge cycles for accurate level display.

Assembly & Usage Notes
- Test before soldering: Connect a charging cable to verify the display works correctly before any soldering work.
- Solder battery leads directly: Always solder battery leads for a solid connection. Twisted wires, crocodile clips, or spring connectors may cause insufficient power supply and affect performance.
- Correct polarity is critical: Connect battery positive (+) to B+ and negative (−) to B−. Reverse polarity will permanently damage the mainboard.
- Ternary lithium batteries only: Do NOT use lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries. Wire 4 cells in series with a protection board before connecting to the mainboard.
- Normal heat during fast charging: Slight warmth during operation is a normal byproduct of high-power energy conversion.
- Protocol compatibility: This board uses public fast-charging protocols (PD/QC/FCP/SCP). Verify your smartphone supports a compatible public protocol to ensure fast-charge functionality.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What type of batteries are compatible with this 4S power bank module?
A: This module is designed exclusively for ternary lithium batteries wired in a 4-series (4S) configuration with a protection board. Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries are not compatible and must not be used, as the charge/discharge voltage ranges differ significantly.
Q: Does the PD 100W module support fast charging for all smartphones?
A: The module supports mainstream public fast-charging protocols including PD, QC, FCP, and SCP. Most modern Android and iOS smartphones that support any of these protocols will benefit from fast charging. Proprietary or manufacturer-specific protocols that do not have public standard support may charge at standard speeds only — always verify your device's supported protocols.
Q: Why does the battery level display seem inaccurate when I first connect the battery?
A: This is completely normal. The battery meter uses a self-learning calibration system that refines its capacity estimation over several full charge and discharge cycles. After 3–5 cycles, the display will accurately reflect your battery's true charge level.
Q: Can I use the Type-C port for both charging the power bank and charging my devices?
A: Yes — the Type-C port supports bidirectional operation. It can accept input (to charge the power bank batteries) and deliver output (to charge connected devices). The USB-A port is output-only. Note that simultaneous input and output may reduce overall efficiency.
